From the point of view of Brown and Levinson, politeness in the discourse context of the language indicates the social position of the speaker and the level of relationship between him and the audience, so politeness can be considered a part of the linguistic action of the speaker in the structure of the language, including the Persian language. In this essay, the writer attempts to discuss and analyze the strategy of romantic words in Shahriars lyrical poetry by using Brown and Levinson's functionalism theory and analyze the type of verbal relationship between lover and beloved from this point of view. In terms of methodology, the upcoming research is of a descriptive-analytical type, based on the analysis of lyrical dialogue. Shahriar intends to directly address the lover with internal language and address the lover and talk to him. The results of the research and the findings of this study indicate that Shahryar used the mechanism of audience face and respect for politeness according to the theory of Brown and Lewinson when proposing his proposal to his lover talking to him, complaining about hijran. He tries to prove the exalted position of the beloved in his words by paying attention to various aspects.
